Have you ever explored your life experiences that resulted in your present routines and schedules?
We all grew up in specific environments. We saw how people around us lived – what they did, and how they did their activities.
If you were to reflect, do your schedules and routines mirror the schedules and routines of what you saw? If we are on the journey of clarifying our purpose, goals and calling, then we can make an assessment of the routines and schedules we follow based on how they support the purpose, goals and calling that God is leading us to achieve.
This revelation can identify things in our daily, weekly and monthly activities to continue doing – the things that we are doing that support us in a healthy way. Also these reflective questions can reveal areas we need to change.
As we continue to ‘press toward the mark’ (Philippians 3:14), we can look at our routines and schedules surrounding:
- Our devotional lives
- Our self-care approach
- How we take care of our surroundings – including our homes and the outdoors
- Our occupational pursuits
- Our recreational activities
We can then adopt strategies to provide immediate to long term benefits to contribute to a harmonious and a joyful life journey.

Be Blessed
