James 1:17
As we seek Unity Within, we will accept God’s involvement and direction in our lives; and part of God’s involvement involves His provision. In James 1:17 we are told, ‘every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow ofContinue reading “James 1:17”
Moving Forward United Within
Studying the account of the people who were on the verge of going to the land of promise gives us a good understanding of the things we will or could face – irrespective of the type of change – and the interventions needed that will allow us to move forward and live the life thatContinue reading “Moving Forward United Within”
Embracing Unity Within
To recap, from the story, the people’s fears occurred because of how big they saw the opponent and how small they saw themselves. Expectations
In the last blog post, we saw how the people were seeking to find a different leader. Though the people had been looking forward to entering the promised land, some apparently bad news dashed their expectations. They no longer expected to succeed or to win. They did not give themselves a chance to explore success. Continue reading “Expectations”
Dependency – Looking for Another Leader
Continuing on from the previous blog post Dealing with Blame, sadly, the people’s thought process led them to exclude God, and in their desperation, they shifted the focus again and they sought a solution outside of God. In their desperation they wanted to look for a leader, to take them back from whence they came. Continue reading “Dependency – Looking for Another Leader”
Dealing with Blame
If you have not read the previous blog posts in this series, you can find them at this link. Now crippled into inactivity by their thoughts, the people’s next action was to blame someone for their reality and the situation and predicament. In our own lives, in the areas that we are feeling down, canContinue reading “Dealing with Blame”
